Residential Childcare Manager

We are seeking an experienced and qualified individual to take on a leadership role that requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities
  • To provide effective leadership and management to a team of carers, ensuring they are supported and empowered to deliver outstanding care.
  • To develop and implement policies and procedures that promote best practice and ensure the safety and well-being of service users.
  • To maintain accurate records and reports, including incident reports, staff rotas, and quality assurance data.
  • To work closely with other professionals, including social workers, therapists, and medical practitioners, to ensure service users receive comprehensive support.
  • To monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of care plans, making recommendations for improvement as necessary.
Requirements
  • A recognised Level 8 Social Care qualification or equivalent.
  • Five years direct experience of working in residential childcare, and/or managing services to vulnerable children and young people.
  • Excellent communication and report writing skills.
  • Proficient IT skills and understanding of utilising word, adobe, excel etc.
  • A full clean driving licence held for more than one year.
