Job Title: Analytical Testing Specialist

This is an exciting opportunity with a leading pharmaceutical organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute routine analytical testing using assays such as HPLC, UV analysis, Capillary Electrophoresis, PCR testing, and Bioassay methods on Release, In-process, Stability samples in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
  • Support routine analytical testing with raw materials onsite.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of pharmacopoeias, specifications, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Contribute to the laboratory testing schedule to achieve an efficient quality control system.
  • Manage samples that come into the lab for stability, in-process, and release testing.
  • Calibrate and maintain all designated laboratory instruments.
  • Participate in risk assessments, inspections, audits, incident investigations, and implement corrective/preventative measures.
  • Ensure data integrity and compliance with company standard operating procedures (SOPs), specifications, and cGMP regulations.
  • Maintain cGMP standards at all times.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 1-5 years laboratory testing experience in the pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical industry.
  • Degree in Science, Chemical Engineering, or Biological Engineering.
  • Critical skills in bioassay and DNA testing, chemistry testing, and raw material testing.
  • Knowledge of regulatory/code requirements to Irish, European, and International Codes, Standards, and Practices.
  • Knowledge of cGMP & Laboratory Quality Systems.
