Warehouse Operations Specialist

As a highly skilled and detail-oriented Warehouse Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate stock levels of fast-moving items, providing prompt and accurate quotes to customers, and resolving day-to-day customer enquiries efficiently.

  • Maintain accurate stock levels of fast-moving items to ensure efficient inventory management.
  • Provide prompt and accurate quotes to customers based on their requirements.
  • Resolve customer enquiries promptly and professionally to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Source materials from suppliers and negotiate with them to secure optimal pricing.
  • Collect parts from local suppliers as required to support warehouse operations.
  • Perform general administrative tasks as necessary to support warehouse operations.
  • Manage customer orders from initial enquiry to delivery to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment.
  • Create and maintain effective management reports to inform business decisions.
Required Skills and Experience:
  • Strong product knowledge of MRO and engineering consumables to provide expert advice to customers.
  • Excellent sales and customer relationship development skills to build strong relationships with customers.
  • Strong negotiating and purchasing skills to secure optimal pricing from suppliers.
  • Methodical and organized approach with strong knowledge of management systems to ensure efficient operations.
  • Current driving license to enable transportation of goods as required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, and IT literate to support business operations.
