Career Opportunity in Healthcare Catering

We are seeking a skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a healthcare catering staff member. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and organization of all kitchen areas, utensils, crockery, and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Kitchen Porter Duties: Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness throughout the kitchen area, including floors, walls, surfaces, and equipment.
  • Assist with Stock Control: Help manage stock levels, deliveries, goods in, and goods out, as well as other tasks assigned by the Head Chef or Kitchen Manager.
  • Food Preparation and Waste Management: Assist chefs with basic food preparation tasks as needed and ensure proper waste management practices are followed.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of two years' experience working in hospital or nursing home settings or from a high-volume catering background is required.
  • Excellent English language skills, both written and verbal, are essential.
  • You must be able to adapt to new healthcare environments and work collaboratively with others.
  • Valid work permits to work full-time in Ireland with no restrictions are necessary.
  • Flexible working hours and a positive, friendly approach to work are required.
