Key to a successful construction project is a well-organized site engineer who can effectively manage day-to-day operations.

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Site Engineer to oversee the implementation of our development projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

The role involves managing site personnel, materials, and resources to ensure smooth project execution. You will also be responsible for monitoring progress, identifying potential risks, and implementing mitigation strategies to prevent delays or cost overruns.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Supervising site staff and contractors to ensure compliance with health and safety protocols and company policies.
  • Overseeing the installation and testing of site equipment, including surveying tools and construction machinery.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including architects, engineers, and project managers, to ensure effective project delivery.
  • Maintaining accurate records of site activities, including progress reports, material inventory, and labor hours.

To be successful in this role, you will require a degree or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar position, strong technical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail are also essential. Additionally, you should possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, knowledge of current health and safety regulations, and proficiency in surveying equipment and CAD software.

Requirements:
  • A bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience as a Site Engineer in residential or mixed-use development projects.
  • Strong understanding of building codes and regulations.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and ability to learn new software quickly.
