In this challenging role, you will provide critical support to our operations team as a skilled Facilities Engineer or Senior Engineer. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality engineering solutions and expertise in the design, specification, and commissioning of new biopharmaceutical utilities and HVAC equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and specify clean and grey utility systems, HVAC equipment, piping, ducting, and controls, adhering to cGMP standards.
  • Manage small-to-mid-sized projects related to utilities and HVAC equipment and services, ensuring timely completion and budget adherence.
  • Conduct thorough troubleshooting for complex issues with plant equipment and associated systems, providing effective solutions and recommendations.
  • Assist in design review, site acceptance, and installation of equipment, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Support QA validation by preparing comprehensive design documents and assisting in protocol execution, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Investigate anomalies and safety incidents in utility systems and control systems, implementing corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance processes to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimize downtime.
Requirements
  • Possess a level 8 qualification within an engineering discipline or equivalent, demonstrating technical expertise.
  • Have a minimum of 3 years of experience in engineering (5+ years for Senior Engineer), showcasing leadership skills and project management capabilities.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical and organisational skills, with excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

This position requires a detail-oriented and logical individual who can effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
