Job Description:

Our team is seeking a seasoned professional to lead the delivery of Environmental Impact Assessment Reports and Appropriate Assessments for large-scale renewable energy projects. As an Environmental Impact Assessment Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring compliance with planning and environmental regulations.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in environmental science or a related field and possess expertise in leading multidisciplinary teams on EIA projects. They will be responsible for coordinating the EIA process, including the preparation and submission of reports and assessments.

  • Develop and implement EIA strategies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements;
  • Lead and coordinate the EIA team to deliver high-quality reports and assessments;
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to address concerns and resolve issues related to EIA projects.
Requirements:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional who possesses the following qualifications and skills:

  • Postgraduate degree in Environmental Science or a related field;
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in leading EIA projects and preparing EIARs and AA/NIS documents;
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality EIA reports and assessments on time and within budget;
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and manage teams effectively;
  • Strong understanding of Irish planning policy and legislation related to EIA.
