Leading Environmental Impact Specialist

The role involves leading the EIA process for large-scale Renewable Energy Projects. Key responsibilities include delivering the Environmental Impact Assessment Report and Appropriate Assessment/Natura Impact Statement for proposed developments.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the EIA process to ensure compliance with planning and environmental issues.
- Provide environmental expertise to inform business strategy and support the planning team.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in legislation, policy decisions, and updates to national, regional, and local authority development plans to maximize outcomes.
- Assist with stakeholder engagement and develop effective project plans for communications and consultation.
- Prepare specifications for third-party services and assist with procurement processes.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety policies and relevant EU and National policies and statutory requirements.
- Contribute to the upskilling and mentoring of junior staff, focusing on EIA and Appropriate Assessment processes.
As a key member of the team, you will participate in the Performance Management process to deliver your own and the team's objectives.
