Procurement Manager

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to shaping the future of sustainable energy solutions.

Job Overview

In this role, you will assist with the procurement of major construction contracts for our project pipeline. You will engage with key suppliers through procurement processes and liaise with internal teams to de-risk and advance projects.

You will coordinate with the wider project delivery team to support the development and delivery of our project pipeline. Your initial priority will be completing procurement processes for upcoming UK projects, but you will also gain exposure to projects in Ireland, Germany, and Italy.

You will have the opportunity to support and influence the growth of the wider project delivery team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop Procurement Plans: Develop the procurement plan and contracting strategy for projects.
  • Supplier Qualification: Ensure all suppliers complete our prequalification process.
  • Tender Process Management: Take ownership of tender processes: develop documentation; act as a single point of contact for contractor communications; coordinate review of proposals with the team; prepare evaluation reports and present these to management; assist during contract negotiations.
  • Contract Implementation: Support contract implementation during construction in coordination with project managers.
  • Financial Modelling: Support financial modelling with technical and commercial inputs.

Your Profile:

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or Energy Engineering or related discipline.
  • 4-5+ years' experience in renewable energy, with experience in utility-scale solar PV and/or Battery Storage advantageous.
  • Proven track record in procuring construction services and/or equipment for renewable projects.
  • Proficient in written and verbal communication, resource management, and software.
