Job Description:

Our client is a leading distributor of industrial electrical products, selling into the whole of Ireland. This role is for Southern Ireland and the ideal candidate will live close to Limerick or Cork however we are open to discussing this opportunity with candidates living in other locations.

We are recruiting a Sales Representative to manage and nurture approximately 100 accounts, including electrical wholesalers/resellers and end users such as construction and engineering companies. The successful candidate must have experience selling similar products or dealing with related customers.

The primary focus of this role will be on account management, ensuring maximum spend from existing customers and building relationships with slow moving or dormant accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research sales leads and market opportunities
  • Work towards agreed sales goals and targets
  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing customers
  • Provide technical support to customers in person, via Teams, phone or email
  • Negotiate and close sales deals
  • Create monthly reports using CRM software
  • Use CRM to effectively monitor activity and sales performance
  • Understand how our products interact and may be modified to meet customer requirements
  • Work closely with Product Managers to understand customer requirements and best practice
  • Attend training courses either in-house or at supplier's premises
