Director of Financial Operations

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage core finance operations, including accounts payable, payroll and pensions, accounts receivable, client accounts, banking, taxation, general ledger, and systems administration.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of financial transactions and completion of month-end and year-end closing activities.
Strategic Objectives:
- Build and sustain strong working relationships with banks, auditors, and other external partners to enhance the organization's reputation and credibility.
- Drive process improvement and transformation projects to strengthen internal controls, streamline reporting, and optimize financial operations for greater scalability and effectiveness.
- Maintain and enhance internal control frameworks to ensure adherence to accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
- Support internal and external audits, ensuring full compliance with financial, tax, and statutory obligations.
Leadership Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related discipline (essential).
- A recognized professional accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or CPA (essential).
- Demonstrated 10–15 years of post-qualification experience, including a minimum of 5 years in a senior finance leadership position within a commercial organization or commercial semi-state body.
