Relief Chef Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and flexible Relief Chef to join our team in Cork City. The role involves preparing and cooking a wide range of dishes to a high standard, maintaining excellent food hygiene and safety standards, and providing relief cover for full-time staff during periods of leave or illness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes to meet customer requirements and ensure quality and consistency at all times.

  • Maintain high standards of food hygiene and safety, adhering to relevant regulations and guidelines.

  • Support kitchen operations as needed, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability across different roles.

  • Provide relief cover for full-time staff during periods of absence or illness, ensuring continuity of service.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working as a chef in professional kitchens is essential.

  • Availability to work from 2pm to 10pm on a regular basis, with flexibility to accommodate varying shifts and schedules.

  • A culinary qualification is beneficial but not mandatory.

  • Flexibility with weekly availability is ideal, and access to own transport may be advantageous depending on location.
