Palliative Care Specialist

This position requires an experienced Occupational Therapist to work in Palliative Care, delivering high-quality patient care and support.
The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of occupational therapy principles and practices, with a focus on enhancing the health and well-being of patients.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities to develop personalized treatment plans.
- Collaborate effectively with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care and support.
- Evaluate patients' needs and provide recommendations for adaptive equipment and home modifications.
- Design and implement individualized programs to promote independence, mobility, and overall quality of life.
- Registration with the Occupational Therapists Register maintained by CORU.
- Three years of full-time post-qualification clinical experience.
- Ability to maintain annual registration on the CORU Occupational Therapists Register.
- Capacity to confirm annual registration with CORU to the HSE via the Patient Safety Assurance Certificate (PSAC).
- Proven expertise in occupational therapy with a focus on palliative care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work effectively in a team environment.
