Data Centre Project Manager Role Summary:

• The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the project lifecycle, from design and planning to delivery and handover.">

About the Job:

The successful candidate will have extensive experience of Telecommunications Infrastructure Cabling deployments in data centres, as well as experience of project planning and client presentations.

In addition, the ideal candidate will be able to absorb and manage new services and applications, and have experience of dealing with multiple site design and production activities.

They will also have proven ability to motivate and develop project team personnel, and experience of delivering services against formal sub-contracts.

Key Responsibilities:

2. To act as primary interface between ONNEC and the clients in respect of being the first point of contact for design, operational/delivery and financial matters.">
3. Overall responsibility for the projects P&L.">
4. Production and issue of accurate monthly internal reports to the Operations Manager.">
5. Responsibility for the production of specific back up documents for each project.">
6. To compile and produce monthly client reports for review by the Country Operations Manager and DC commercial lead.">
7. To plan and co-ordinate design and production activities.">
8. To plan and co-ordinate material procurement and supply chain liaison in line with project plans.">
9. To plan and co-ordinate resourcing requirements in line with project plans.">
10. To plan and co-ordinate 3rd party suppliers in line with project plans.">
11. To plan and co-ordinate project handover documentation in line with project plans.">
12. Develop and deliver project handover documentation.">
13. Ensuring adherence by the Design and Production teams to published Contractual and Commercial responsibilities.">
14. Transference of all ONNEC and Manufacturers Warranties to the Contracts team upon project completion.">
15. Overall responsibility for the implementation and maintenance of both ONNEC Group and the Clients Health & Safety Policies on assigned projects.">
16. Overall responsibility for the implementation and maintenance of both ONNEC Group and the Client's Quality Assurance Policies on assigned projects.">
17. Overall responsibility for all deliverables (including documentation) conforming to both ONNEC Group and the Client's published Quality Management System.">
18. Overall accountability for all actions of the ONNEC project teams.">
19. Overall responsibility for the motivation and development of allocated resources.">
20. Act as an escalation point for internal resources and client management teams.">

About You:

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess excellent leadership and project management skills, as well as strong communication and interpersonal skills.

You will also need to have experience of Telecommunications Infrastructure Cabling deployments in data centres, project planning and client presentations.

In addition, you will need to be able to absorb and manage new services and applications, and have experience of dealing with multiple site design and production activities.

Proven ability to motivate and develop project team personnel, and experience of delivering services against formal sub-contracts would also be advantageous.
