Customer Growth Strategist

The Customer Growth Strategist is a pivotal role in driving net new growth across SAP's portfolio of offerings. This individual will work closely with teams and leaders in Product Marketing and Global Marketing to develop and execute connected marketing plans that bridge customer need to SAP cloud revenue aligned to growth priorities and objectives.

The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of experience in product / launch marketing, with 5+ years in customer acquisition and event marketing. They will be strong in digital marketing, data reporting, analytics, and deriving actionable insights, and proficient in Adobe Analytics, SMC, Marketo, and Events SAC Dashboard.

Key responsibilities include defining and refining target audiences, aligning channel leads with event and launch audience strategies, managing promotion timelines, coordinating with Global Event Comms and Campaign Services, and reporting on performance and insights.

This role requires a strategic, data-driven thinker who can communicate effectively with executive audiences. The successful candidate will be passionate about industry trends, continuous learning, and customer growth, and will be able to manage complex stakeholder relationships and present to executive audiences.

What You'll Do
  • Define and refine target audiences in partnership with stakeholders, data teams, and solution marketing.
  • Align channel leads (Web, Promo Email, Organic Social, Paid Media, Field Sales, Partners) with event and launch audience strategies.
  • Manage promotion timelines in collaboration with Field Marketing, ensuring alignment with business and launch priorities.
  • Coordinate with Global Event Comms and Campaign Services on promotional email testing, targeting optimization, and delivery.
  • Report on performance and insights, providing clear recommendations for ongoing optimization.

Requirements
  • 7+ years in product / launch marketing, with 5+ years in customer acquisition and event marketing.
  • Strong expertise in digital marketing, data reporting, analytics, and deriving actionable insights.
  • Proficient in Adobe Analytics, SMC, Marketo, and Events SAC Dashboard.
  • Skilled in project management, executive communication, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Proven ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships and present to executive audiences.
