Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Category Leader to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing sourcing events, commercial negotiations, market and competitor analysis, and contract administration.

About the Role
  • Create and manage RFx events, supplier evaluations, negotiations, supplier selection, and recommendations for deals within scope.
  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators for all engagements.
  • Ensure full compliance with SCM policy and procedures in all sourcing events.
  • Act as an escalation point for relationships with Suppliers and stakeholders.
  • Analyze category spend regularly and identify opportunities to achieve cost savings/avoidance.
  • Perform market analysis within managed categories.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have 5 years of experience in Supply Chain or Procurement of indirect services. Experience in managing sourcing projects houses in different markets around the globe is desirable.

  • Able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deliver within deadlines.
  • Self-motivated and able to work in a geographically dispersed team.
  • Solid technical/commercial/financial knowledge to operate intelligently and persuasively with suppliers, business line, and engineering leadership.
  • Superior oral and written communication & selling skills.
  • Fully competent with MS suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint etc) and Tableau experience advantageous.
