Job Overview

 

  • Sourcing professionals play a vital role in the procurement process. As a Strategic Sourcing Manager, you will be responsible for managing international sourcing contract activities on a global scale.

  • The Pharmaceutical & Specialty Solution segment is looking for a skilled professional to strengthen Cardinal Health's global presence through strategic sourcing.

  • Key Responsibilities:

  •     Monitor and troubleshoot EDI transmissions daily to ensure sales tracing data and inventory reports are processed correctly.

  •     Work with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to resolve disputes and ensure Cardinal Health is compensated when deliveries are interrupted.

  •     Collaborate with the global sourcing team to manage critical items via a manual buy process to optimize inventory and maintain customer service levels.

  •     Document management, inventory analysis, stock builds for seasonal needs, identification of overstock opportunities, setup and monitoring of new item launches, audit brokerage orders and customer transfers, represent the department across the organization, and lead special projects to drive continuous improvement.

 

Qualifications

 

  • 8-12 years of experience in related fields (e.g., Pharma/Bio Industry, Procurement, Sourcing, Supply Chain Management, Wholesale Distribution)

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
