Estimator Role in Cork

We are seeking an experienced Estimator to work on our construction projects in Cork, Ireland.

  • The successful candidate will prepare and collate accurate, detailed and timely tenders based on drawings, specifications, bills of quantities and other relevant information.
  • They will source subcontractor and supplier quotations, analyze the information for ambiguity, risk and qualification and seek clarification where necessary.
  • The ideal candidate will also assist in the ongoing development of systems and procedures used in tendering, as well as keeping up-to-date with contractual changes and developments in the construction industry.
  • This role requires excellent IT skills, including familiarity with MS office applications such as Excel and a Quantity Surveyor (QS) or related package.
Key Requirements
  • At least five years' experience in estimating or a QS role is essential.
  • A third-level qualification in QS or a related construction discipline is required.
