The Construction Planner will lead residential development projects nationwide. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical understanding of the Irish housebuilding process, from greenfield site to handover.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed construction programmes for housing developments using Asta Powerproject software.
- Work closely with project stakeholders to align programmes with build strategies.
- Sequence works logically, incorporating lead times, procurement schedules, and statutory approvals specific to Irish residential projects.
- Identify critical paths, key milestones, and potential risks, proposing mitigation strategies where needed.
- Liaise with contractors and suppliers to validate lead times and integrate them into the programme.
Essential Skills
- Minimum 3–5 years' experience in planning within residential construction.
- Knowledge of Irish construction regulations, planning requirements, and BCAR (Building Control Amendment Regulations).
