Job Description

This is a great opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects as part of a top-class team. The role involves designing, developing, modifying, specifying, and evaluating electrical and automation equipment for new or existing products.

You will be responsible for creating engineering documentation to release new designs or design modifications. This includes developing project-specific electrical schematics, PLC, HMI, and SCADA controls.

The ideal candidate will have strong skills and experience in PLC programming and knowledge of tools such as Rockwell's RSStudio, FTME, and FTSE, Siemens' Simatic Manager, WinCC, and TIA Portal, and Mitsubishi's GX Works.

A strong understanding of motor control, especially that using Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), would be highly beneficial. Additionally, the ability to design and specify electrical cabinets would be valuable.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Three years of post-qualification experience in automation engineering
  • Strong skills and experience in PLC programming
  • Excellent knowledge of relevant software tools
  • Strong understanding of motor control and electrical cabinet design
