Security Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Security Lead to join our organization.

This role requires an individual who can effectively manage all aspects of onsite generation and power provision activities.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining comprehensive security policies and procedures in alignment with regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing comprehensive security policies and procedures in alignment with company and regulatory requirements.
  • Conducting regular risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential threats.
  • Overseeing the implementation and maintenance of physical security measures, such as surveillance systems, access control and intrusion detection systems.
  • Managing supplier relationships for the installation and maintenance of physical security equipment.
  • Managing on-site security personnel and third-party security providers to ensure effective coverage and response.
  • Leading and managing the security team, including hiring, training and performance evaluation.
  • Promoting a culture that encourages compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Managing access control systems to ensure only authorized personnel have access to sensitive areas.
  • Regularly reviewing access logs for compliance and accuracy.
  • Ensuring adherence to identity verification and visitor management processes.
  • Developing and maintaining incident response plans for security events and emergencies.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in security management or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in security management preferably within a data centre or critical infrastructure environment.
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM or CPP are highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of physical security systems and technologies.
  • Understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Proficiency in security management software and tools.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle emergencies effectively.
