About the Role

The Senior Development Chemist is a key member of our Process Development service team, providing chemistry expertise and technical support for chemical development across various stages from laboratory to manufacturing plants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical and laboratory support for introducing new products, including route development, scale-up, and implementation on plant scale.
  • Support projects in the lab, encompassing route scouting, proof of concept, and process robustness studies.
  • Propose modifications to synthetic routes to solve complex chemistry issues for both laboratory and plant processes.
  • Undertake compound synthesis to required quality standards, involving analytical data interpretation.
  • Develop scientific knowledge by reading peer-reviewed literature, attending conferences, and training relevant to drug discovery.
  • Author or contribute to regulatory submissions, patents, and internal documentation.
  • Communicate with clients and teams to ensure project transfer between labs and plants.
Requirements
  • Degree, Master's, or PhD in Chemistry with significant Organic Chemistry content.
  • 1-2 years of experience in synthetic/Organic Chemistry, preferably in industry or research institutions.
  • Experience leading development projects.
