Camphill Communities of Ireland are seeking a Day Services Team Lead to take on a leadership role within our team.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills and experience in programme facilitation, with a good working knowledge of the New Directions frameworks and person-centred planning process.

In this role, you will be responsible for taking leadership and responsibility for programme offerings in line with day attendees' goals and preferences, as well as being a key lead on building effective partnerships with families, friends, and community groups.

You will also ensure that day attendees have a voice through self-advocacy, support groups, and participate in activities of their interest in the wider local community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Programme Development: Take leadership and responsibility for programme offerings in line with day attendees' goals and preferences, revising quarterly and communicating to all day attendees and staff through an individual timetable.
  • Partnership Building: Be a key lead on building effective partnerships with families, friends, and community groups as a central element of support to each person.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure working within the main legislative and policy frameworks, including New Directions, Safeguarding Vulnerable Persons at Risk of Abuse National Policy & Procedure, Assisted Decision-making Act, etc.
  • Facilitating Needs and Choices: Facilitate the needs, requirements, and choices and preferences of day attendees through effective use of the resources available to the service.
  • Maintaining Positive Relationships: Maintain a positive working relationship with families and other providers.
Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience:
  • A minimum of a Level 7 on the QQI Framework - BA in Social Care Studies or equivalent relevant qualification in Health or Social Care.
  • At minimum, 3 years' experience in programme facilitation of services in a day service or residential setting.
  • Good working knowledge of the New Directions frameworks and person-centred planning process.
