This role is a key position within our organization, driving growth and ideation strategies to maximize opportunities across all claim platforms. It involves providing strategic oversight and direction on growth portfolio management, ensuring alignment with enterprise goals.

">Associate Director of Clinical Growth

In this leadership role, you will lead the ideation and growth efforts as part of the Payment Integrity operations team. Your responsibilities will include developing clinical pipelines to deliver growth and affordability outcomes, driving initiatives from concept through execution, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to foster innovation and continuous improvement.

You will work closely with stakeholders to define data requirements, translate complex data, and acquire new data sources to support ideation and growth efforts. Additionally, you will develop multi-year growth strategies, referencing medical spend trends, AIML technology opportunities, and industry changes.

Your expertise in change management, program management, and payment integrity will be invaluable in driving incremental savings via various claim data and trend analysis, and partnerships with Analytics, Competitive Intelligence, Concept Research, and Operations.

  • Develop Clinical pipeline to deliver upon growth & affordability outcomes that directly contribute to enterprise-level medical cost savings goals.
  • Effectively drive initiatives from concept through execution, ensuring alignment with enterprise goals and timely delivery of value and value tracked/realized.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to foster innovation and continuous improvement.

This is a full-time position based in Ireland, offering flexible work arrangements and the opportunity to split monthly work hours between Dublin or Letterkenny office and telecommuting from a home-based office in a hybrid work model.

To be successful in this role, you will require excellent communication skills, logical thought process, time management, and prioritization skills to meet multiple deadlines.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in Business, Change Management, Strategy.
  • Experience in Payment Integrity business, Health Technology, or Healthcare Financial Service.
  • Proven track record in driving change management, identifying and driving ideation, managing large-scale complex programs within a matrix environment.
  • Reporting skills required in developing requirements, and interpretation of reporting data.
  • Advanced level of proficiency with claim life cycle.
  • Advanced level of proficiency with clinical processes and application within UHG – must be able to demonstrate facility and professional clinical knowledge.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Extensive United Payment Integrity Experience.
  • Extensive experience with financial analysis and prioritization of pipeline-driven demand.
  • High degree of proficiency in Microsoft products.
  • Ability to serve the team in a strategic position in the absence of the Director.
