Laboratory Manager – ChemistryCashel, Co. TipperaryFull-time | On-site | PermanentA leading pharmaceutical manufacturer in Cashel is seeking an experienced Laboratory Manager – Chemistry to lead and develop the Chemistry Laboratory. This is a senior leadership role reporting directly to the Senior Quality Director / Qualified Person.What You’ll DoLead and manage a high-performing Chemistry Laboratory team.Oversee testing processes, lab infrastructure, and continuous improvement initiatives.Manage method and specification change controls, investigations, and technical transfers.Coordinate with internal teams and external contract labs to ensure compliance and efficiency.Act as the key contact for laboratory-related regulatory interactions.Support strategic growth and development of the site’s quality control capabilities.Develop next-level leadership within QC/ARD teams and drive operational excellence.Identify and implement process improvements, optimise resources, and monitor KPIs.What You’ll BringBSc or MSc in Chemistry (essential).10+ years’ experience in a pharmaceutical chemistry lab, including 3+ years in a leadership role.Strong understanding of lab operations, GMP compliance, and business processes.Proven leadership, coaching, and communication skills.Experience conducting internal audits and managing change controls.Eligible to work in Ireland.What’s on OfferA senior leadership role within a growing pharmaceutical site.Involvement in strategic expansion projects and new lab capabilities.Collaboration with international teams and external partners.Competitive salary and benefits package.Long-term career development within a forward-focused organisation.Ready to take the next step in your QC career?
