Dublin, Ireland Narratology Full time

A privately owned Company for four generations, The Maxol Group has earned a trusted place at the forefront of innovation in the forecourt convenience sector and a reputation for expertise in the Irish mobility energy business built over its 105-year history. With a clear vision and a keen eye for new market developments, they have invested significantly and are now an instantly recognisable brand with a €786m Group Turnover in 2024 and profit before tax exceeding €33m.

Maxol’s Fuelcard services division is based in Mallusk, Co Antrim, and supports 2,500 business customers to manage their fuel costs. Directing the budgeting and forecasting process for all fuel-related activity, the role holder will approve all major business cases, investment appraisals and financial modelling related to fuel pricing, distribution and infrastructure. The Head of Fuel and Operations Finance will also support the Chief Supply Chain Officer in evaluating fuel tenders and represent Maxol at industry forums, ensuring alignment of Maxol’s strategic position with wider sector developments.
