Currently seeking highly motivated and dedicated Social Care Workers & Team Leaders to join our client's team based in a new residential unit and other day services loacted throughout in Galway.

The ideal candidate will provide exceptional care for children and adults who live with intellectual disabilities and challenging behaviour.

Key duties:

Take charge when the Service Manager is not available.Make sure the people supported are safe and well.Keep track of their progress following set procedures.Help build good relationships within the service.Support people to feel good about themselves and their uniqueness.Collaborate well with people who may have challenging behaviour and help conduct care plans for them.Look after the daily needs of the people living in the service.

Essential criteria:

A professional degree (minimum level 7) in Applied Social Care.Previous experience collaborating with people with an intellectual disability or a similar field.Full current driving license.
