Your new company Our client is a leading logistics company in Ireland. Their customers range from small Irish companies to MNC’s and their requirements range from moving a pallet across the Irish Sea to a complex solution to the Logistics element of their Supply Chain involving movement by Air, Ocean and Road. Established over 50 years ago in Dublin, they are seeking an Airfreight Export Operator to join their team. Your new role As Airfreight Export Operator, your role is to provide a professional and efficient operations service to both internal and external customers.Main duties and responsibilities:Processing shipment bookingsMonitoring shipments from point of customer booking to arrival at final destination and customer paymentProviding a high level of Customer Service to both internal and external customersLiaising with airlines to ensure that the best possible rate and transit time are securedLiaising with warehouse and transport personnel regarding collections and the warehouse processing of airfreight shipmentsLabelling freight for exportProcessing Sales and Purchase Invoices, and dealing with any queries relating to Customer / Creditor invoices.Dealing with rate requests and issuing quotationsDevelopment of Airfreight serviceWhat you'll need to succeed Minimum of 2–5 years experience in a freight forwarding roleExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalAbility to multitask High level of attention to detailTeam PlayerWhat you'll get in return This role is a hands-on, full-time role, based 5 days in the office. Located in Dublin North, this role pays a competitive base salary + bonus and employee benefits.
