Assistant Financial Controller | Dublin 12 | Permanent, Full-Time
Are you an experienced finance professional with a strong background in accounting and a passion for driving financial excellence? We are seeking an Assistant Financial Controller to join our client's team and play a key role in managing the day-to-day financial operations of the business. Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Financial Controller in overseeing the finance function and ensuring accuracy across all financial processesManage and support a team of finance staff, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of financial tasksOversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger functionsPrepare, review, and analyse monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reportsMonitor budgets, expenditures, and forecasts, providing insights to support management decision-makingEnsure compliance with statutory requirements, financial regulations, and internal controlsSupport external audits and liaise with auditors as requiredIdentify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy within the finance departmentAbout You:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (professional qualification such as CPA/ACCA/CIMA is an advantage)Proven experience in finance or accounting, ideally with at least 2 years in a supervisory or assistant controller roleStrong technical knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance requirementsExcellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to develop and motivate a teamProficient in MS Office, SAP, and ERP systemsHighly analytical with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detailWhat's On Offer:
