It means you have learned the value of fresh ideas, and have developed a passion for managing people.Your responsibilitiesManagement of a district with line manager responsibility for all store managers within your districtEnsuring a positive and motivated work environment and smooth, effective and efficient collaborationDeveloping, supporting and coaching of store managers within your districtAnalysing and optimising stock movementsCompleting district tours with sales executivesCompleting regular cash management checksSupporting projects through analysis and provision of feedbackOverseeing store refurbishment, new openings and re-openingsCreating and implementing annual business plans for your districtPlanning KPIs and store staffing structure for your districtSupporting the implementation of the company strategy in your districtPreparing for and participating in Area Manager meetingsWhat you'll need to succeedHave a minimum of a 2.1 degree in any discipline or have 3+ years of management experience.Excellent communication, planning, organisation and analytical skillsA full driving licence (required)Organised, flexible, motivated and a hard-working leaderPrevious experience in a fast-paced environmentProven ability to motivate and lead a teamStrong interest in developing a career in retailMulti-site experience as an Area Manager would be an advantage.What you'll get in return€74,000 starting salary for a Trainee Area Manager€84,500, rising up to €114,000 after 3 yearsFlexiwage will allow you to split your monthly pay over the month - weekly or fortnightly options available.25 days holidays per annumCompany pension after 6 monthsMaternity & Paternity leave top up, Marriage Leave, Employee Assistance ProgrammeBike to Work SchemePrivate employee medical insuranceInitial training and ongoing development of an experienced team memberA fully expensed company carMobile and broadband discounts
