Our client, based in Dublin West is a leading supplier of heath and nutrition products in the Irish market. Established over 40 years ago, the brand is instantly recognisable in the health and nutrition sections of most supermarkets and pharmacies. The organisation has over 20 staff working across production, administration, marketing.

A position has become available for an experienced Senior Bookkeeper to join them on a full-time/ permanent basis.

The role will report directly to the MD and will work closely with the Partner of a respected accountancy firm who provide technical/ consultancy advice on an on-going basis.

The position will offer good work/life

Responsibilities will include – Processing payroll and payroll related files Preparation of Vat and VIES returns together with Vat RTD Creditors Ledger Processing and Payments Files Bank Reconciliations Stock processing Maintenance of Fixed Asset Register Trial Balance and Nominal Ledger maintenance and reconciliation including accruals, prepayments, payroll and Vat journals Intercompany reconciliations Management Accounts Debtors Control ReconciliationAbout you –

To be successful in this role you will have the following skills/ background – Part or Recently Qualified Accountant or Accounting Technician Have a minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role Have hands on experience processing payroll and VAT returns Happy to work in a fast paced environment Clear communication skills Sound like something that's of interest?
