Health & Safety Officer - Cork

Key Responsibilities

Identify, assess, and mitigate health & safety risks on site.Provide advice and support on all H&S matters to management and staff.Lead and assist with incident investigations, ensuring root causes are addressed and corrective actions implemented.Monitor compliance with legislation, company policies, and regional H&S requirements.Keep H&S procedures, policies, and risk assessments up to date.Conduct regular inspections, audits, and reporting on H&S KPIs.Deliver training and raise awareness of H&S at all levels of the organization.Liaise with external stakeholders, including insurers and regulatory bodies, ensuring all reporting and licensing requirements are met.Support and contribute to regional and group H&S strategies and initiatives.

What We’re Looking For

Higher Diploma (Level 7/8) or Degree in a relevant discipline.Chartered Member of IOSH (or equivalent).Minimum 2 years’ experience in a health & safety role, ideally in manufacturing or a similar environment.Strong communication, influencing, and negotiation skills.Confident delivering training to all levels of the organization.Hands-on, resilient, and motivated approach.
