Cloud Security Engineer 197146 Desired skills: Cloud Security, Multi-Cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP), IAM & Network Controls, Workload Protection, Cloud Threat Detection, Automation/Scripting Cloud Security EngineerLocation: Dublin Type: Full-Time Salary Guide (Ireland): €70,000 - €95,000 DOEA growing security-focused tech company is expanding its cloud team and is looking for a Cloud Security Engineer who can support customers with secure cloud deployments, troubleshoot technical setups, and help strengthen cloud security practices across AWS, Azure, and GCP environments.This role sits between engineering and customer-facing work - ideal for someone confident with cloud security fundamentals, threat detection concepts, and hands-on configuration, without requiring senior architect responsibilities.What You'll Be DoingSupport customers through technical discussions around cloud security requirements.Assist in designing secure cloud setups across multi-cloud environments.Help run proof-of-concepts and troubleshoot configuration issues during evaluations.Work with engineering teams to validate integrations and improve cloud visibility.Provide guidance on identity controls, network configurations, workload protection, and monitoring.Keep up to date with cloud threat trends and share insights with internal teams.Prepare technical notes, diagrams, and documentation when needed.What You Should Bring3-5+ years' experience in cloud security, cloud engineering, SOC cloud security, or similar.Good understanding of AWS, Azure, or GCP security features.Familiarity with cloud networking, IAM, logging, and workload/container security.Hands-on experience with scripting or automation (Python, Bash, PowerShell, or Terraform preferable).Strong troubleshooting abilities and comfort working with customers/stakeholders.Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.Nice to HaveAny cloud certs (AWS/Azure/GCP).Security certifications are an added bonus (Security+, CCSP, CISSP associate, .Experience with modern cloud security platforms (CNAPP/CSPM/CWPP).Reperio Human Capital acts as an Employment Agency and an Employment Business.
