Civil Project Manager - Civil Contractor - DublinOffice/Project Location: DublinEmployment Type: Full time Work Location: SitePay: €75K-€80KExperience: 5+years working on civil projects Visa: EU passport or Stamp 4 visa requiredOur client is a leading Irish Civils contractor who possess ISO9001 accreditation and continually lead the way in integrated services and support. They have a strong safety first attitude and their certified safety & environmental systems allow them to operate in a safe and more efficient way.They are seeking to appoint a Project Manager to oversee a civils transport project based in Dublin.The Project Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing and coordinating construction activities on-site.With a focus on efficiency, safety, and adherence to established standards and schedules, this role ensures successful project execution.Review project plans and requirements and produce a detailed baseline programme on Microsoft Project.Track programme on a regular basis and issue updates to client.Identify critical path delays when they occur and demonstrate on programme. Negotiate extensions of time where required with the client.Review project pricing and track internal costs to ensure project is being delivered as priced and can be completed within required budgetIdentify areas where project is losing money, identify root cause and develop strategy to mitigate thisCommunicate commercials issues and proposed solutions to the Contracts ManagerUnderstand what is included in the project contract/price and identify project variations where they occur Negotiate additional costs where required with the client.Review contract documentation and communicate required notices to the client within timeframes specifiedLine manager for Site Agent, Project Engineer and QS. Responsible for all workers on site through Site AgentReview and approve monthly progress claimsReview and approve Risk Assessment Method Statements and other pre-construction HS documentationCarry out regular HS and quality auditsIdentify design issues and communicate these to the client along with proposed solutionsRequirementsProven experience as a Project Manager in civil engineering or construction projects, with utilities experience and working within the road corridor preferred.Excellent computer skills with detailed knowledge of Microsoft outlook, word excel and project.Full drivers licence.Background in civil engineering preferred.PackageSalary €75K-€80K depending on experienceAnnual Leave 21 daysWorking Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PMStatutory sick payPension (auto-enrolment or support if already established)Provided: Laptop, phone, company vehicle, and fuel card
