The Learning & Development Specialist is responsible for designing and delivering training programs that support employee growth and management development. This includes onboarding for new management roles and ongoing upskilling initiatives.Duties and Responsibilities:Creation, implementation and delivery of new & existing training solutions, content, policies & procedures for employee and management developmentEnd to end ownership of planning and execution for assigned projects, including design and delivery of various product and tool training programsCreation and execution of closed-loop feedback mechanisms to determine efficiency and impact Working with diverse stakeholders to conduct organisational, departmental, and individual training needs analysis and design solutions accordinglyIdentification of trends and development opportunities to drive continuous improvementEnsure all required staff have the necessary knowledge once training is rolled out and completeEnsure training solutions are in place for succession planning and employee development towards management roles Point of contact and advisory to operations on employee enhancement & developmentProduce standard and ad-hoc training reports as needed. L&D knowledge expert for operational & support function managementReview measurement tools, metrics and feedback to gauge training effectivenessWork with and deploy learning solutions via our internal learning management systemRequired to be flexible and adaptable to various activities daily and have flexible working hoursThis role may involve domestic & international travel to company events, conferences, and clientsEssential Competencies:Strong planning, scheduling, and deadline management Comprehensive knowledge of Learning and Development frameworksUse of data to advance ideas and influence othersStrong organizational skills to keep projects focused and on trackAbility to work independently and take on responsibility in a dynamic environmentCoaching and mentoring skillsPresentation skillsPeople ManagementPassion for developing others & self High energy, drive, enthusiasm, initiative, and commitment Communication & interpersonal skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office suiteExcellent attention to detailGood team playerFlexible and innovativeCandidate Experience:At least 1 year in a management role with training experience and/or minimum 2 years in an L&D position (Essential)Previous mentoring/coaching experienceQualification in Learning and Development highly desirableStrong communication skills in English (written and verbal)Proven people management skills with record of delivering and transferring knowledge via trainingAbility to work independently and collaborativelyCapability to analyse dataExperience developing content for virtual/self-paced learning solutions Company Name: CovalenSalary : €36,Location : Nova Atria, Blackthorn Road, Sandyford Business Park, Sandyford, Dublin 18Working hours : 40 hours per week
