Overview

With teams distributed across multiple regions, we foster innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning. As we expand, we seek an HR & L&D Manager to strengthen our people strategy and cultivate a high-performance, growth-oriented culture.

This is a dynamic, global opportunity requiring operational and strategic HR expertise. The role reports to the Chief People Officer.

Key Responsibilities

HR Manager

- Oversee core HR functions such as onboarding, performance management, employee engagement, and wellbeing for MCO’s European and US offices.
- Support talent acquisition efforts in Europe and the US as needed.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and global HR best practices.
- Partner with HR team to administer Compensation and Benefits programs.
- Drive employee engagement and support culture initiatives across global offices. Assist in talent assessment and integration plans for future acquisitions.

Learning & Development

- Develop and implement global L&D strategies aligned with business needs.
- Conduct training needs analysis to identify skill gaps and development priorities.
- Design, deliver, and evaluate leadership development, technical upskilling, and soft skills programs.
- Manage learning platforms (e.g., LMS) and collaborate with external providers.
- Promote a culture of continuous learning, knowledge sharing, and career development.
- Evaluate training effectiveness through feedback and performance metrics.
- Utilize HR analytics to inform decisions and measure program effectiveness.
- Support change management and organizational development, especially related to acquisitions.

Experience & Skills

- Master’s degree in business administration, human resources, or a related field.
- 8+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, preferably in the software industry.
- Proven ability to develop and execute HR strategies aligned with business goals.
- Experience designing, developing, and delivering training programs.
- Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and digital learning platforms.
- Ability to manage and resolve complex employee relations issues.
- Experience with e-learning tools such as Articulate, Adobe Captivate, and Storyline.
- Comfort with data analysis, dashboards, and HR analytics.
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment legislation, and regulatory requirements in Europe and the US is highly desirable.
- Discretion and confidentiality are essential.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
