Organisational Development Executive – 12-Month Fixed-Term Contract (Hybrid)
An established public sector organisation is seeking a proactive and skilled Organisational Development Executive to join its HR & OD function on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR or OD professional to make a meaningful contribution during a period of transformation and capability enhancement.
About the Role
Over the next year, several strategic people initiatives will be launched to strengthen engagement, learning, and organisational performance. This role will play a key part in ensuring these projects are delivered successfully while maintaining excellence across core OD activities, including talent development, performance management, and HR communications.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the implementation of HR and OD initiatives that align with organisational strategy.
Partner with the OD Manager and wider HR team to deliver change and development programmes.
Lead and coordinate a range of OD activities, such as:
Employee engagement and culture initiatives
Learning and development programmes
Performance management cycles
Tuition and education assistance processes
Internal communications and staff updates
Mentorship and graduate programmes
Contribute to the review and development of HR and OD policies.
Support wider HR operations, including recruitment support and candidate communication.
Prepare reports and briefs for senior leaders and board-level audiences.
Champion the organisation’s values and culture through all OD initiatives.
Provide flexible support for wider team projects as required.

Qualifications and Experience:
Degree-level qualification (NFQ Level 8 or equivalent) in HR, OD, or a related area.
Solid background in organisational development and change management.
Experience in learning and talent development initiatives.
Ability to manage competing priorities and work independently.
Professional discretion in handling confidential information.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Willingness to travel within Ireland and occasionally overseas.
Full, clean driving licence required.
