Job description HR & OD Executive | Public SectorAt Staffline Recruitment we have a fantastic vacancy available for an experienced Organisational Development Executive to join our client, a prominent Public Sector body taking a 12 month fixed term contract.The successful candidate will take up a pivotal role within this organisation's HR & OD department. The purpose of this position will be to contribute to the deliver of a broad range of OD activities to ensure successful delivery of the overall HR & OD strategy.This is a permanent position that will offer a salary of €51,522 . This position will be based in the public body's city centre offices with a hybrid working model of 2 days per week working remotely.Key responsibilities will include:Contribute to the overall function of HR and Organisational Development, specifically in the delivery of a number of strategic activities.Work with the OD Manager & OD Team, to ensure that change management programmes and relevant HR&OD related activities are delivered.Support the delivery of effective HR Communications to the organisation.Lead on Group Training programmes including analysis of needs, inputting on programme design, sourcing of external vendors as well as promotion and evaluation of courses.Effective management of graduate programmes, ensuring an excellent graduate and manager/team experience.Lead the implementation of an appropriate learning management/experience platform, driving utilisation and building out relevant dashboards.Assist in the development of new policies and undertake a review of existing policies and procedures.Contribute to the overall function of HR and Organisational Development including the selection and recruitment function within the organisation and to provide feedback to staff, and candidates as necessary.Write and present HR briefs and documents to relevant internal stakeholders up to and including Board level.Ensure that company values and culture are at the heart of Learning & Development activities.Demonstrate flexibility in undertaking additional tasks as may be assigned.Interested candidates will meet the following requirements:A HR/OD Third level qualification, to a minimum Level 8 on the National Qualification Framework is essential.Ability to work well under pressure, flexibly and independently on own initiative and against tight deadlines.Ability to demonstrate up to date knowledge of theory and good practice in key areas is preferable.Organisation development particularly around change management and developing organisational cultureLearning & Development, particularly management development and talent management.An understanding of Learning Management systems would be an advantage.Excellent ability to exercise sound judgement, confidentiality and discretion.Clearly demonstrated experience and excellence, in personal effectiveness and in verbal and written communications.The role will require domestic and occasional international travel, and flexible working hours.A full driving licence is essential.The closing date for applications is Monday, December 1st 2025 at
