We have been instructed by a very high growth firm in the Energy sector to find them an Assistant Treasurer for a newly created position. You will be responsible for building out a Treasury function while working alongside an extremely experienced core finance team. This role will be well suited to an experienced Treasury Manager who is looking for the next step in their career. Thepany itself is incredibly well financed and has been growing rapidly with big plans to continue.What You'll Do
As Assistant Treasurer, you'll be responsible for a broad range of treasury and financing activities, including:
Cash Management & Liquidity

• Manage day-to-day banking relationships, account openings, and KYC exercises

• Lead cash pooling and streamline bank account structures

• Ensure strong controls around bank payments and straight-through processing

• Deliver accurate cash reporting and forecasting (short & long term)

• Oversee bank reconciliations and working capital facility management

Debt Management

• Monitor covenantpliance and update financial models

• Prepare and coordinate waiver requests

• Update forecasts for funding cash flows

• Track interest rates and benchmark transactions

• Support the Project Finance Associate

Financing & Risk Management

• Oversee trade facilities (LCs), guarantees, interpany financing and dividends

• Coordinate quarterly financial risk reviews

• Manage exposures and hedging across interest rates, FX, and inflation

• Support hedge accounting activities

What We're Looking For

• Strong academic background, with a degree in a technical discipline

• ACT, ACA or CFA qualified would be an advantage

• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint experience

• Skilled stakeholder manager with excellentmunication skills
