The site operates in a regulated environment with automated continuous-processing technologies and supplies products to international markets.This is a hands-on, high-impact role supporting day-to-day manufacturing performance, capital projects, new technology introduction and continuous improvement.The Process Engineer will:Monitor and optimise production process performance (yield, throughput, energy, quality KPIs)Lead root cause analysis and troubleshooting for process deviations and equipment issuesSupport capital projects, including equipment upgrades and commissioning of new process linesWork cross-functionally with Production, Maintenance, Quality and CI teams to deliver improvementsMaintain and update process documentation, SOPs and validation recordsSupport OEE, efficiency and waste-reduction initiativesCollaborate with vendors/OEMs on equipment upgrades and process improvementsIdentify automation and control opportunities to improve reliability and consistencyProvide engineering support for deviation investigations and change controlsElectrical Component (Desirable but not essential)This is a process engineering role first and foremost, but experience in one or more of the following is an advantage:Troubleshooting instrumentation, sensors and control loopsWorking knowledge of MCCs / VSDs / PLC-controlled equipmentExperience partnering with E&I vendors / contractorsUnderstanding of electrical isolation and LOTO requirementsAbility to read P&IDs and basic electrical schematicsThis level of capability is useful, but full electrical qualifications are not required.About YouTo succeed, you will have:Degree in Chemical, Process, Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering discipline1-4 years' experience in a regulated manufacturing environment (FMCG / food / pharma / biotech / medical devices)Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with real ownership mindsetExperience supporting production performance, troubleshooting and/or CI projectsAbility to work both independently and cross-functionally in a fast-moving environmentBonus experience (not essential):Powder handling, spray drying, evaporation or filtrationHygienic design or CIP / hygienic utilitiesLean / Six Sigma methodologiesWhy This RoleThis role suits someone who enjoys real responsibility and visible impactExposure to both daily operations and capital projectsWork in a site with significant upcoming investment and new process capabilityThis is an excellent next step for an engineer who wants to accelerate their development and broaden their technical skills across process, automation, and equipment upgrades.How to ApplyPlease apply via the link belowFor a confidential discussion before applying, please contact:014408352At Wallace Myers International Recruitment Agency we specialise in sourcing professionals for key industries and services.
