We are hiring a CNM2- Medical/Surgical Inpatient Units in our Hospital in Dublin, Ireland.
Responsibilities
- Monitors and evaluates patient care processes and outcomes on the patient care unit to ensure that competent, compassionate, and efficient care is provided effectively.
- Recruits and maintains skilled, empathetic employees while maintaining high performance standards and fostering fair labour practices.
- Promotes a caring work environment by the availability of safe equipment and adequate supplies in an effectively organised physical setting.
- Operates and participates in continuous quality improvement and risk management programs at the unit level, working together with multidisciplinary colleagues.
- Monitors fiscal budget to control operational and capital expenses, and adjusts staffing patterns to improve productivity.
- Identifies and implements internal controls to ensure departmental compliance.
Requirements
- The NMBI Registered General Nurse licence is in excellent standing.
- Preferably hold a postgraduate degree in management.
- A minimum of five years of clinical experience and two years of progressive management experience are necessary.
- The employee must speak, read, and write in proper English.
- Experience in providing competent, compassionate, and efficient care to a specific patient care unit on a 24-hour basis. This encompasses clinical, HR, and financial management.
