What the day will look like The Senior Insurance Manager will work on both Client Service and Management sides:
Client Service (75%) Lead the delivery of Insurance (underwriting, claims and reserving support services) as part of the Aon Captive Management team to deliver top quality service to several of our captive insurance clients and reinsurance companies.
You will be responsible for the following tasks, for a number of our captive insurance/ reinsurance clients:Leading the delivery of high-quality captive management and advisory servicesLead, plan and manage the Insurance function requirementsEnsure that all client regulatory and legal issues are complied withPrepare high quality reports and present to the Board of DirectorsCoordinate the technical insurance aspects of any projects and initiatives and drive all assigned projects to conclusion.Identify solutions to meet client needsProactively seek out revenue growth opportunities.Management (25%) You will participate in our Insurance Practice leadership team who are passionate about maintaining our service excellence in Insurance services to our captive clients, supporting with the below:Development of talentAllocations of resources to clientsResource and hiring planningTraining, development and need for specialist expertiseSystems advancements.How this opportunity is different With Aon, if you have a willingness and commitment to learn, we will encourage and support you to elevate your insurance qualifications and experience to bring client servicing excellence and problem-solving capabilities through access to the breadth of Aon's range of risk, retirement and health solutions.
Skills and experience that will lead to success The ideal Senior Insurance Manager will have the following skills:
Strong client servicing skillsRelevant 3rd level qualification and/or qualified Insurance professional with a strong relevant post-qualified experienceExtensive experience within a regulated insurance company/reinsurance company/captive insurance company or similar regulated financial services entitySolid understanding of the regulatory and compliance environment which governs insurance and reinsurance companiesSolid understanding of the principles of risk financeEffective communications and problem solving skillsIdeally people management skills (including managing workload, KPIs, motivating the team, mentoring, etc), but not mandatory.How we support our colleagues In addition to our comprehensive benefits package, we encourage a diverse workforce.
