With a strong presence through our traditional Builders Merchants division, our main brands include Chadwicks, Cork Builders Providers, Davies, and Telfords.
We have also expanded through organic growth and acquisitions to include brands like Heitons Steel, Panelling Centre, Morgans Timber, Proline, Sitetech, and Rooney's Hardware.
Position: Trade Sales Advisor
Location: Stillorgan Industrial Park, Co. Dublin
Contract Type: Permanent, Full-time (39 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with potential Saturday roster participation)
Key Responsibilities: Build and maintain effective relationships with customers to understand their needs and ensure the correct products are supplied.Identify sales opportunities and provide advice and solutions to maximize profitable sales and margins.Achieve sales and margin targets.Maintain a clean and well-merchandised counter area in line with company policy.Follow company policies when producing sales-related paperwork.Manage the re-ordering and stock levels of selected product lines within the Plumbing and Heating department.Liaise with suppliers as needed.Support the Branch Manager and colleagues to ensure efficient and effective branch operations.Maintain a tidy working environment in line with health and safety guidelines.Safeguard against theft by being security conscious at all times.Perform other duties as required by the company.Knowledge & Experience: Previous experience in a busy builder providers is preferable.Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales and margin targets.Good knowledge of Plumbing & Heating products is a distinct advantage.Previous sales experience is an advantage.IT literacy.Essential Competencies: Effective team working.Excellent interpersonal and customer-facing skills.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Flexibility and willingness to learn.Dynamic, motivated, and driven to achieve targets.Excellent organization and attention to detail.Our Benefits Include: Competitive Basic SalaryPrivate Health CareSick Pay SchemePaid Maternity and Paternity LeavePension SchemeColleague Saving SchemeProfit Share SchemeColleague DiscountEducational AssistanceWellness initiativesDon't meet every single requirement?
