What you'll doAs a Market Development Representative (MDR), you will be responsible for generating qualified opportunities that progress through the sales funnel and ultimately generate new revenue to grow our presence in EMEA.
This position is an individual contributor reporting to the Market Development Manager.
Responsibilities Identify and generate new business opportunities and pipeline within a defined territory.Spend about 80% of your time on the phone managing outbound prospect calls to educate potential customers on what Docusign has to offer and gain insight into their business needs.Drive brand and product awareness in the UK/IE markets territory through regular email and call campaigns.Schedule high-impact appointments with those who are of good potential with Account Executives.Record prospect information in our CRM database.Present a balanced approach to cold calling, relationship development, sales process, and appointment setting.Job DesignationRemote: Employee is not required to be in or near an office frequently and works from a designated remote work location for the majority of the time.
Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work.
Access to an office location is required.
(Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation)
In Office: Employee works from the physical workspace 100% of the time.
Positions at Docusign are assigned a job designation of either In Office, Hybrid or Remote and are specific to the role/job.
Preferred job designations are not guaranteed when changing positions within Docusign.
Docusign reserves the right to change a position's job designation depending on business needs and as permitted by local law.
What you bringBasic Fluency in English is required.Understanding of sales cycles and solution-selling tactics.Proficient computer application skills, including , Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.Preferred Track record of success in outbound sales/business development role.Confident and courteous verbal and written communication skills.Excellent organizational skills.2nd European language would be an advantage.BS/BA degree or equivalent professional experience.Life at DocusignWorking here Docusign is committed to building trust and making the world more agreeable for our employees, customers and the communities in which we live and work.
