This reputable client works across the country in the heart of local communities to support and advocate for the rights and needs of all people living with dementia and their carers.
We are accepting applications for the position of Day Centre Manager in Garryowen, Co. Limerick. The chosen candidate will be responsible for the daily running of the centre, providing support to the staff and clients alike.
To be successful in this role, you will need experience in caring for individuals with Alzheimer's/dementia.
You will need good communication skills, be open and enthusiastic, have a positive attitude, lead by example, make staff feel valued, and be able to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team.
Minimum Requirements:A Bachelor's degree in any of the following fields: Nursing, Social Care; Applied Social Studies in Social Care; Applied Social Studies, Social Studies5 years' post-qualification experience in health/social care3 years' management experience in a similar roleExperience of working with people with complex needs in a variety of situationsEligible to work in Ireland.Apply in Confidence: Updated CV to: ******
