Human Resources Manager (Pre-opening) We are currently recruiting a Human Resources Manager to lead the HR function at this brand new Moxy by Marriott opening in 2025.
As we prepare for our grand opening, we are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate HR Manager.
This role is pivotal in fostering the Moxy values and nurturing a fun & positive work environment for all crew members.
The Human Resources Manager will work closely with the General Manager in ensuring that all pre-opening HR milestones are met & will manage all aspects of the HR function once the hotel is operational.
Key Responsibilities: Manage the pre-opening recruitment process including job advertisements, screening, selection & on boarding of crew members.
Take ownership of pre-opening critical path HR tasks & ensure that they are completed within the required timeframe.
Work with the Marriott Learning & Development team to ensure that all brand related training is completed.
Manage the scheduling & co-ordination of all pre-opening training including both brand & statutory training.
Lead the HR function on a day-to-day basis once the hotel is operational.
Work closely with the management team to create a positive, inclusive, high-performance workplace culture.
Support the Heads of Department in all aspects of managing their team including recruitment, training, performance management, employee engagement, employee development & talent planning.
Ensure HR policies and procedures are in line with current legislation & are amended in line with any legislative changes.
Ensure all employee files are maintained and kept up to date, ensuring compliance to company and statutory procedures.
Drive employee engagement and foster a culture of teamwork, innovation & positivity.
Ensure rewards & recognition incentives are implemented.
Handle employee relations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions.
Manage the payroll function on a weekly basis.
Ensure the effective implementation and delivery of all Marriott Brand training & HR initiatives in the hotel.
Ensure that all HR related brand standards are adhered to at all times.

Thrives in a fast-paced, opening environment and loves a challenge.
Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.
Thorough knowledge of Irish employment law and Hotel Industry best practice.
Current legal status to live and work in Ireland without restrictions.
Excellent attention to detail.
A qualification in Human Resources Management.
Minimum 2 years' previous experience in a Hotel HR Management role.
Excellent leadership and conflict management skills.
Is organised and has the ability to manage multiple projects at a given time.
