The People and Organisation Development Manager is responsible for ensuring that the University has a fit for purpose people and organisation development strategy and suite of offerings aligned with the University and HR Strategy, particularly in the areas of talent and performance development.
Within this they are responsible for supporting identification of development needs, provision of formal and non-formal mechanisms for learning and development, frameworks for supporting organisation development, self-services resources for managers and individuals, and bespoke consultancy to Schools and Units.
They are also responsible for providing all necessary supports to the University leadership to ensure the successful operation of the University Performance and Development system, Performance for Growth.
Through all these programmes and initiatives they are to support the ongoing development of the University culture in line with its Values.
The role requires a collaborative approach, working closely with HR colleagues and consulting across the University, to analyse needs, design, develop and implement appropriate, workable solutions.
