Reports To: Chief Information Officer (CIO)
Job Summary: The Head of IT Security will be responsible for leading the IT security strategy and operations for H&MV.
This role will form part of the IT leadership team and will work closely with other departments to ensure the security and resilience of the organization's information systems.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in information security, risk management, and compliance, and will have experience in managing and guiding a diverse security team.

Key Responsibilities: Cyber Roadmap: Review and deliver the cyber roadmap for the company.
Security Operations: Oversee real-time monitoring and management of security threats, including the protection of firewalls, entry points, and databases.
Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks to the organization's information assets.
Develop risk management frameworks and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
Incident Response: Develop and implement incident response plans to quickly address and recover from security breaches or cyber-attacks.
Governance and Compliance: Ensure that the organization adheres to legal and regulatory requirements related to information security.
Manage policies, procedures, and audits, including compliance with the NIS2 Directive and GDPR.
Team Leadership: Lead, develop, and manage the IT security team, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities.
Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
Certifications: Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA are highly desirable.
Experience: 10+ years of experience in information security, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
Proven track record of developing and implementing successful information security strategies in complex environments.
Skills and Competencies: Deep understanding of security technologies, threat landscapes, and risk management practices.
Strong leadership and team management skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and strategic thinking with the ability to align security initiatives with business goals.
Experience with regulatory compliance, including GDPR, HIPAA, and industry-specific standards.
