Head of Cyber Security – Private Equity Head of Cyber Security opportunity in Dublin/Limerick.
This private equity company is scaling fast with their first Senior IT Strategy hires and has serious growth ambitions ahead.
This role will suit a Head of Cyber Security with ambitions to match, taking on the challenge of spearheading the security initiatives in this fast-paced organization including projects such as NIS2 and GDPR.

Your mission will be to lead and grow a global Cyber Security organization and estate.
It is a fast-paced, highly dynamic environment with high-quality standards.
The IT environment is a mix of on-premise and cloud, with security, reliability, and compliance all of critical importance.
It is a Microsoft environment moving to cloud.

Team leadership, stakeholder management, and strong technical skills are keys to success in this role.
You will also be responsible for building a high-class team of cyber security engineers from the ground up.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background along with exposure in a high-risk environment as a Head of Cyber Security.
Experience successfully managing Cyber Security in a fast-paced enterprise is important.

Role / opportunity: Head of Cybersecurity Reporting to CTO Fast scaling company – first of their IT Strategy hires IT Department going through an exciting transformation and scaling journey Dublin City Centre/ Limerick based Permanent Position Skills / experience: 10 – 15+ years' experience, with a strong track record as a Head of Cyber Security Cloud Savvy : Extensive experience in securing cloud-based platforms and environments.
Ideally MS Azure (darktrace, crowdstrike, netskope, defender etc.)
Lead and grow a large global team Great culture and flexible working environment Package: Dublin City Centre/ Limerick based Permanent – €120000, 10% bonus, pension, healthcare etc.
