Position Description: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mobile App Developer to design, develop, and maintain high-performance mobile applications using React Native.
Experience in the fintech sector is highly desirable.
The role also includes building and supporting API layers to ensure seamless integration with backend systems.
You will contribute to optimizing mobile app performance, enhancing user experiences, and ensuring robust security measures are in place.
Major Areas of Responsibility:Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable mobile applications using React Native.Build, maintain, and support API layers, ensuring seamless integration with backend systems.Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and performance.Collaborate with UI/UX designers to create functional and visually appealing app interfaces.Manage mobile app development projects, ensuring quality and timely delivery.Work with partner development teams to maintain high coding standards and cost-effective outcomes.Implement rigorous testing protocols to identify and address security vulnerabilities.Ensure regular patching, updates, and security checks to safeguard application integrity.Continuously seek improvements in app functionality, performance, and user experience.Primary Objectives:Develop and maintain systems and tools that accelerate trading and fulfilment processes.Enhance tools that enable seamless risk management, partner system connectivity, and operational efficiency.Drive automation and straight-through processing, improving user experience and scalability.Promote a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and teamwork.Specific Responsibilities:Application Development and Architecture: Design, develop, and maintain high-quality mobile applications using React Native.
Ensure apps are scalable, maintainable, and secure, following best practices in mobile app architecture.API Development and Integration: Build and support robust API layers to facilitate seamless data exchange.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate third-party services and external APIs.Project and Team Management: Lead development projects from inception to deployment, ensuring high-quality outcomes.
Mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, and foster a collaborative team environment.Quality Assurance and Security: Implement rigorous testing protocols, including unit, integration, and performance testing.
Proactively identify and mitigate security risks while ensuring compliance with data protection standards.Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process enhancements and drive initiatives to improve development efficiency.
Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to keep applications cutting-edge.Job Requirements:Strong knowledge and experience in mobile app development, particularly using React Native.Broad experience in financial markets and related fintech applications.Proficiency in API development and integration with mobile applications.Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.A continuous improvement mind-set, with a focus on delivering high-quality software solutions.Education and Experience:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.Minimum 5 years of experience in mobile app development.Fintech industry experience is a significant advantage.Proven track record in building and supporting API layers.Work Environment/Benefits:Competitive salary DOE.Flexible work environment with options for remote or office-based work.Occasional travel may be required.This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the development of cutting-edge fintech solutions.
